Build your confidence – Part 1

For you didn't receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father. Romans 8:15

Confidence is a synonym for trust. Opposite of confidence is timid and doubt. There are many kinds of fear which works on our mind and paralyses our confidence. Fear is a bondage which stops you from succeeding and doing good.
Our past experiences, people’s opinions and statements work on our mind which impacts our confidence. What you constantly think upon (meditate) is finally going to impact you. If you are going to meditate upon your past failures, negative opinions of people, then you will lack your confidence. Today, I challenge you to discipline your thoughts. Think what you are thinking. Peel off the statements of people, from your mind, that has done you no good for such a long time. It has affected you in a way that you never could do things as per your potential.

The people who made those negative statements might not be even alive, might not be even a part of your life, or even important in your life today, yet you are treasuring their words for your ruin. If you don't remove it from your mind now, it can even ruin your future. The bible says, “Perfect love casts away all fear.” The love of Jesus on the cross can build your confidence. You can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens you. By God's strength you will be able to achieve the impossible. Even if anything goes wrong, which is one of the fear that haunts people, God will turn it around for your good.
