Life in Nazareth – Part 1

Then Jesus went down with them (His parents, Joseph and Mary) and came to Nazareth, and was subject (submissive) to them. Luke 2:51

What a wonderful statement it is from someone who is following you. If someone is following you , not because of what you give them, but because of who you are then that is the greatest achievement of your life. Thats why God came in the form of Jesus on this earth. God didn't want a hypothetical belief on Him. God didn't want people to assume who He is and then believe Him out of fear. God didn't want any ambiguity in His relation with mankind. He didn't want us to create some hypothetical, unreasonable picture of Him to believe Him. He said, "I have created Man in My image and My likeness. So we look like God and God looks like us. There is no hidden things in this. He wants us to believe Him and Love Him for who He is. He is good and He has shown His goodness by coming down on this earth. He doesn't look like an alien from outer space to whom we can't relate. God is not an alien from outer space where He will not be able to reach out to us. God revealed this truth to us when He came in the form of Man, with a name, Jesus!

God looks like us, because He made us in His image and likeness. Don't be confused of God. Don't doubt how God looks. When you look in a mirror, know that God looks like you. Don't start thinking wrong, by thinking that you are God. I'm only helping you relate how God looks.

You seeing the Salvation of God – Part 4

For my eyes have Your (God) salvation. Luke 2:30

Cast off all your doubtful thoughts. Cast of all kinds of thoughts, people that is is hindering you from believing. Cast of all kinds of words of people that is stopping you from moving ahead. Leave your bitter past and reach out to your future. Many are sitting and holding their past. It has been bitter and hurtful. The past year might have been the worst and thus you think that even this year its not going to be good. Such thoughts are holding you back from moving ahead. If you hold on to your past, it will hold back. You can't change your past, but surely you can change your present and have a good future. But if you don't leave your past experience and if you don't allow God to heal about your past, then it will leave scars and the wounds will remind you constantly of it and thus hold you back. Like Simeon, reach out to the present and future with a new hope. The people who have ruined your past have all ready moved ahead in life, why are you holding onto it. Let it go and let God handle it.

Ask God to heal your heart and then allow God to heal it. God will not allow your past to harm your present and your future. Let the fear of your past not trouble you. God will erase your past and give you a new beginning. Start looking over your past life and your current bad situations. All these are temporary, what is permanent is glorious and is waiting for you to reach out and take hold of it.

Don't doubt God's promises. Don't doubt God's timings. Don't doubt God's plan for your life, no matter what your age is. God will turn out everything for your good. God will turn out all things in your favor. God's goodness will reach out to you this year. This year you will see God's salvation in your life. Make God the potter of your life, and He will make your life better than you can make. God bless you. I declare that this year will be the best compared to all your previous years. Receive it by saying, Amen!

You seeing the Salvation of God – Part 3

For my eyes have Your (God) salvation. Luke 2:30

However it might seem difficult, this year you will see God's salvation in your life. Trust in God beyond, time limits. Wait on God like Simeon. Bible says, "That those whao wait on God will rise up higher, like an eagle. You will be above and not beyond." Feed yourself with these things everyday and expect God to do the impossible. Build your faith on these things.

This year will be a great year for you. The bible says, "The Spirit of God led Simeon to His Church. The Spirit of God will lead you to God's chosen house where He will manifest His promise to you. There Simeon miraculously saw God's salvation. This year your promises also will be seen when you are faithfully found in God's house. Don't stop going to Church, in fact you should be more frequently be seen in God's temple, because He will show you His salvation there. Your change of circumstance, your prayers all will be answered there. God will show it to you there.

However long it might have taken, but this year God is leading you to His temple, where He will reveal His glory to you. This year your waiting time is be over. From this year, God wants you to faithful in His house to end your waiting time. Whatever you are waiting for, whatever you are expecting, your spouse, your job, your healing, your lawsuit, whatever it might be, it will end this year. Your waiting time is over this year. This year will be a year of your new beginning. This is the year of your breakthrough. This is the year of your salvation. Your eyes will see God's salvation. Your circumstances will change this year.

Don't stop hearing and reading the word of God. Don't stop going to church. Though it has taken so long for your prayers to be answered, God has not forgotten you. God bless you

You seeing the Salvation of God – Part 2

For my eyes have Your (God) salvation. Luke 2:30

Simeon looked at his age, and might have thought that he is getting older, "Has God forgotten me." He might have thought that, it might not be possible for God to do it now as so many days, months and years have passed by. If God had to do it, He would have done it by now. He might have thought that God has forgotten me and His own promises. He might have looked at his current situation and thought that it might be too hard for God to change it hence, God has given up. Simeon might have given up in his thoughts that my life will be in complete darkness. He might have thought that it will never change. Are you also thinking in a similar way. Let me tell you, bible says, "God remembers you everyday. He has written your name on the palm of His hands and looks at it everyday." He will not forget you. He will not forget his promises. No matter how many days or years have passed by. Abraham forgot the promises God had made, yet God didn't forget it. God had promised Abraham about his descendants' redemption. Even after Abraham died, God fulfilled His promise about the redemption of Abraham's descendants. God never forgets His promises.

Simeon fed himself with the life of Abraham and reminded himself that God is not a man to lie. He is true to His word. So many lives He has built. Simeon reminded himself, that if he is alive it is only because God has yet to fulfill His promise. That clearly shows that it is going to happen. It doesn't depend on the age of a person. Abraham at the age of 100 can bear son basis the promise of God, if God can use Moses at the age of 80 then God can do the impossible to be possible even in my life. These things encouraged Simeon to depend on God. He threw his life in God's hand. He told God, either you make it or break it, but You are the potter of my life. That was the trust that Simeon had. This faith like a small child is what God is expecting from us. He wants us to trust Him with our life. He wants us to make Him the potter of our life and not limit Him. Today, make God the potter of your life and you will indeed see God's salvation. Don't put time limit to Him, He will not let you die till He fulfills all His promises in your life. He is known as a Creator and not destroyer. Your situation will not harm you to destroy you. Whatever you lose, God will restore double of it. He will create new things, new blessings in your life. Your eyes will surely see God's salvation. Amen! God bless you.

You seeing the Salvation of God – Part 1

For my eyes have Your (God) salvation. Luke 2:30

Simeon was a person who was waiting for God's promises to be fulfilled in his own life. He wanted certain things in his life and was waiting on God for it to be fulfilled. He prayed about it and God had promised that it will be fulfilled, but the most important thing to note was, that God didn't give Simeon the timing, when it will be done. This is something that we all have to learn. We want things to happen in our timing. Sometimes God does it according to our time, but there are times, when He expects us to simply trust Him for who He is. He wants us to trust Him, that He is able to do what He has promised, in His timing. That is complete trust, which He wants us to have on Him. It is difficult, but not impossible. It completely depends in whose company are you daily, company of doubters or believers. Company of people who speak negative or people who speak life. Are you in the company of people who give up easily or are you in the company of people who will stand their ground to see the impossible things happen in their life. Does people around you encourage you to reach out to God for the impossible or just let it go thinking God is not interested in you and settle for average and less.

You ought to get moving to the company of believers. People who believe God for the impossible. People who believe God for radical things with radical faith. This is the need of the hour. Simeon was constantly feeding himself with the word of God, which told him that impossible things are possible with God. God can change the impossible to possible. This made Simeon trust God for the impossible. This helped Simeon to look over his current situation and believe God for His promises to be fulfilled in His own time. At times Simeon might have buckled under pressure of the current situation. The situation might have got over him to doubt God's promises, doubt God's timing, but, whenever this happened, he would run to God's word which built him. He went to people who spoke faith into him. He reached out to people who stirred up his faith. Today, I'm speaking faith into you, "Impossible things will be made possible for you this year. Your eyes will see God's salvation this year." Believe it to receive it. Whenever situation doesn't seem to be positive, get back to this word and stir up your faith on God and talk to yourself that it will happen. Indeed it will happen. Path of Life – Part 2

God will show you the path of Life. Psalm 16:11

Trees and animals do exist. Some call that they have life. But when the wind and the storm come, the tree is uprooted. When plagues come the animals die. This is existence its not life. The life that God gives is an overcoming life. It overcomes all the plagues and the storms. When you walk the path of life which God shows you, then the sickness, disease is not your portion. Even if it comes, yet the Life in you will overcome it. Jesus said, "I'm the Life." Bible says, The One in you is greater than the one outside you." All your problems, all your sicknesses, all your weaknesses are weaker than the Life in you. The Life in you has overcome death. Jesus rose again on the third day from His death. He defeated death. Thats why He was and is and will be able to raise many from the dead. Today also many are being raised from the dead in Jesus' name. I have seen deaf hear, lame walk, and different kind of sicknesses healed when I prayed for the needy in the name of Jesus. That is Life stronger than all kind of deadness.

When you are full of this life, you will no longer feel depressed, sad or even confused as these are deadness, but you will be full of bubbling joy and overflowing with excitement of life. This is true life. Your mood will not swing basis your situation, but you will be consistent, because you have life. You know that you will be able to transfer the Life in you, into your situation and raise the dead situations and dead dreams. Then you will have the power to command all the wind and the waves coming against you. You will not be scared of the water, but you will walk on the water. Life will spring in you till you overflow into others. You will be able to look at the face of your circumstances and laugh. You will look at the face of the bad news and still have peace and joy.

Nothing will ever worry you nor disturb you. Thousand will fall on your left and ten thousand on your right, yet you will be strong and standing like the house built on the rock. This will happen only because you know the path of Life. This will only happen when you have true Life in you. This will only happen when you will be receptive to God. This will only happen when you leave all your old experiences about God and will be ready for the fresh touch of God. This will only happen if you are ready to accept the path of Life that God is showing you. God bless you.

Path of Life – Part 1

God will show you the path of Life. Psalm 16:11

There is a path of life. This is not a way, but a path, which not many people want to travel. This is a path of life which adds life to you. This path gives you life. This path has life in it. Im not talking about existing. I'm talking about living a quality life, an abundant life.

God is the source of life. This path no one knows apart from God. Some people just turns of their ears when they hear its about God. Some others think that people who talk about God are weak. Some others think that hopeless people who are not skilled and they are not able to accept the challenges of life, they run behind God. But that is not the truth. If someone helps you and supports you and guides you, you call such people as your God father. But if God helps you and supports you and God becomes your Father, then why do you think it is not feasible or possible.

Some think this because their concept of God is a myth. Others think this way, because they are scared of their friends. Some others think this because people will consider them a fool. Some others think that they are well able to handle their own situation. They think that they are qualified and skilled to overcome. I had a friend who was well qualified and educated. He was very good at his work. But due to family tensions and work related stress, he had his nervous break down. His veins burst and he started bleeding in his head. A guy who is between the age of 25 to 27 and doing good had this break down. I told him so many times about the path of life, yet he ignored it. He thought his path was the right path. He thought that the path he is taking is the only path. How wrong was he. When he underwent this operation and when the doctors updated him that how close he was to death, then he realized, how frail life is. Then he realized that he needs the path of life. God is the source of life. When God shows you the path, then its not an existing life but its an overcoming life.

How to have a good year?

"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty." Revelation:1:8

God is saying He is the beginning and the end. This new year, He is not only going to begin the year with you, but He promises that He is going to end the year with you. That means He is going to be with you all through out this new year and end with you. Your end will not be the same as the beginning, but it will greater and glorious than the beginning.

God promises, He was, He is and He will be the Almighty. Mightier and Stronger than all your problems that will come against you this year. Mightier and Stronger than all the people who will stand against you. God was, is and will be Mightier and Stronger than all your weaknesses, your addictions and all your impossible thing. This year 2014, if you begin with God and walk with Him all throughout and end with Him, then your beginning will be glorious and the end will be better than your beginning.

On 29^th December, 2013 I was invited to share the word of God. God shared a prophetic word through me and He also confirmed His word with signs and wonders. My wife who was suffering from Acidity was healed that very day. God prophesied about family coming together and revival in India and people being saved. It has begun from my own family. God has begun His work in my family. He has become my Alpha. He will be with me all throughout this year to bless me, prosper me and use me for His glory. The same is available for you. Today make a small prayer with your sincere heart and invite Jesus in your life, relation, work and everything that you do. Then He will be your Alpha and Omega.

Allow God to handle your life. He has the experience and success stories backing up, of all who have given their life in His hands. He has a proven track record of 100%. Try Him this year. Taste and see, God is good. Make God the Alpha and Omega of your life and you will rise up higher than your imagination. God bless you.

Dear Lord Jesus, I invite you in my life, my relation, my work and everything that I do. I give my life into your hands. I give each and everyday of this year of my life into your hands. Come into my heart and my life. Lord Jesus I welcome you as Lord of my life. Bless and prosper me this year 2014. Amen!

Wrong decisions made right – Part 2

And Agrippa said to Festus, "This man could have been set free if he had not appealed to Caesar."Acts 26:32

Many think that their wrong decision will ruin their life forever. It will be a blackspot that will never be removed. Sometimes when we lose our jobs, sometimes when we get demoted, sometimes when no one appreciates us, but shows us all the wrong we do. The wrong relation which caused hurt and didn't work shows us only the wrong decisions which we have made. Such thoughts are defeated thoughts which will never help us. Everyone had similar thought about Paul. But God had spoken to Paul that He will stand before Caesar to speak about the love of God. No one had the opportunity nor boldness to stand before Caesar and share the love of God. If Paul was free no one would have allowed him to enter before Caesar to speak about the Living God. God had told Paul that he would stand before Caesar and speak about the Living God. This opportunity was recognized by Paul and hence he didn't consider his decision as a wrong decision. He saw it as fulfilling the plan of God and glorifying God. What God does is always wonderful. Bible says, "God does only wondrous things, which we may not comprehend initially, but the end will be glorious for us and a blessing to others. God will be glorified through us.

People may think that you are going in the reverse direction, but the truth is that you will succeed better than others. You will reach your destination before others. Though people may think you are taking the reverse direction in your career, in your life, the truth is that God is taking you through a short-cut to place you ahead of all. During this time, keep your attitude right like Paul. Paul saw that God knows what He is doing. God doesn't require Paul's suggestion, but Paul has to only be committed to do what God has asked him to do. Paul not only reached out to Caesar with the word of God, but during this time, many people reached out to hear the wonderful love of the Living God. What God asks you to do at times may seem very foolish, but if you are obedient and leave all your reasons and analysis out of it and do what God asks you to do, no matter what, you will not only succeed, but come out better, above and beyond. Whatever is going on in your life now, leave it in God's hand and ask God for His plan and will. Align your thoughts, your plans, your ambitions to God's plan and God's will and it will come to pass. God will help you. The reverse direction in your life will turn out to be the right direction and others will start following you. Trust God! He has you in the palm of His hands. His plan for you will succeed for sure. God bless you.

Wrong decisions made right – Part 1

And Agrippa said to Festus, "This man could have been set free if he had not appealed to Caesar."Acts 26:32

The above passage is showing that 2 judges are discussing the judgement to be pronounced on Apostle Paul. Before they could come to a conclusion Paul appealed to be judged by Caesar. Caesar was the highest authority or person, of the Roman Empire that ruled. Agrippa and Festus were authorities under Caesar in the Roman rule, placed at different provinces. In today's day it is like the local courts and Caesar was like the Supreme court.

While Paul's case was still in the local court, he appealed that he wanted to go before Caesar. When we see the above passage, it seems like Paul's appeal was wrong. He has made the greatest mistake of his life, because he was being set free by the local judges, but he couldn't be set free, because he appealed to Caesar. Everyone would see this as a wrong decision. Everyone would have considered Paul as stupid and would have blamed him for his wrong decision. Many would have thought that God is not with Paul only because of his wrong decision. This makes many people depressed and make them look at their future as hopeless.

Many people sit and cry over their wrong decisions. They curse themselves and sit on the ash heap over their wrong decisions. They never forgive themselves nor they forgive others. Many on the contrary blame others for their wrong decisions. But many forget that God is in control of their lives and God can make the wrong right. God can make the impossible as possible. God can make a way where there seems to be no way. God can create light where there is no light. He loves you to let you go waste. He loves you so much that He can't let you live an average life. Shake yourself up and get ready to what God is going to accomplish through you. God bless you.

Christmas! - Part 2

And Mary said, "Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your (Angel) word." And the angel departed from her. Luke 1:38

Mary was ready to go against the tide only to stand for God. The world might move in one direction and you might move in the opposite direction, yet, if God is with you, and you are in God's plan, you will be right and the whole world will be wrong. You will reach your destiny before the whole world would reach their. You don't need people to back you, you don't need skills to succeed, you need only God with you, to be successful in all your endeavors. Only your YES to God is enough for Him to do the impossible. After you say Yes, You become very special for God. God is looking for people who will go against the tide for Him. God is looking for people like Mary who will say YES to Him. God is looking for people like Mary who will have a soft and humble heart towards Him. God is looking for people like Mary who is ready to go to any extent to fulfill the will of God. Christmas is about saying Yes to God. When God was sending Jesus on the earth, Jesus said, "Yes". When it was Mary, she said, "Yes". When it was Joseph, he said, "Yes". Christmas the birthday of Jesus is about saying YES to Him. As you celebrate Christmas, say YES to God and allow God to bring the Yes for Him, out of you.

Christmas! - Part 1

And Mary said, "Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your (Angel) word." And the angel departed from her. Luke 1:38

What a wonderful statement Mary made. This statement showed her humility. This statement showed her receptiveness towards God. This statement showed her soft heart towards God. Many of us want to do great things for God, which is good, but very few want to begin with small things. Very few want to go the extra mile, very few actually want to swim against the tide and do things for God.

The angel of the Lord gave a news to Mary that she will give birth to Jesus, the Son of God, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Mary wasn't married to anyone, nor did she have any kind of relation with any man. Without marriage having a child is considered as adultery, and the law was to stone such people to death. When she received the command from God through the Angel, she could have stated all her problems. She could have stated and ignored the word of God. She could have overlooked the promise of God thinking what the people would say. She could have looked at her condition and thought that the angel is joking. She could have stated that this is not for me. She could have said that you, Angel, have come to the wrong Mary. Many other reasons she could have given, like ,we give many times. The Angel of the Lord, (preacher or anyone who shares Word of God) brings the word to us, but we say, "Its not for me, its for my neighbour. I don't deserve it. My condition is not right for it. I can't do it. What will people say?" All these thoughts can hinder the promise of God to function in our life.

What Mary did was the best. She humbled herself to receive the promise of God. She was not bothered what people would say about her. She knew one thing, if God has asked me to do something, He will provide me all the resources required and also will save me from being killed. She knew one thing which she believed very strongly, "If God has asked me to do something, He will back me up, help me to fulfill it. No man can stand against it nor stop it from being fulfilled. I will have supernatural protection. If God is for me, who can be against me."

Gaining Confidence – Part 2

And Shimei said as he cursed, "Get out, get out, you man of blood, you worthless man! II Samuel 16:5
We see people reacting very often. They hear others say something about them, they react by words or actions. Reaction is not good. They react only when they don't have anything to act upon. When do people react, when they are empty from inside and they lack knowledge about themselves. When they are empty they will not have self control so they will flow with the situations and with what others say about them. They try to please everyone around them and get their approval. When they are pleasing people and consider people's opinion as the final verdict of their life, they have no option left but to react. Their lives are based so much on others that they start seeing their lives through others eyes.

David was just the opposite of this and hence he was in a better position to cast down all wrong talks against him. He had faced many such issues from his parent and brothers who never considered him to be good/capable to do something in life. They only that he is naughty and can't make his own life. He had heard all such thoughts daily. Daily his family would put him down by words. They never put confidence in David. His family showed David that he is not capable, he is not skilled, the work he is doing is only because he can't do anything better. What was it that gave David to be confident so much that he could rise up to be a king and handle the affairs of the country without any problems. The only reason was David built himself on the word of God. He looked at himself not through the eyes of people but through the eyes of God. He was so full of the word of God that he never became bitter or negative towards his family. He was so full of the word of God that he only praised God and sang songs to God. This showed that David never built his life on the words of people but God and God alone. Hence he never reacted and never lost control. He had his confidence back him up. Build yourself on the word of God and confidence will back you up. Praise God continuously and see yourself through the eyes of God and not people. Amen!

Gaining Confidence – Part 1

And Shimei said as he cursed, "Get out, get out, you man of blood, you worthless man! IISamuel 16:5

This is a very important topic which God put in my heart and helped me to deal with. I believe God will speak to you too, through this particular series and will help you increase in confidence and build you up. I want you to know, confidence is very important. You will have confidence when you have knowledge. When you have knowledge of a particular subject which you are dealing with, you will have confidence to handle it.

Knowledge is the key thing which will help you gain confidence. After knowledge, it is your thought life which helps you to build confidence. Many people lack confidence. Its not because they don't have knowledge or they are not skilled. But because they don't trust or believe in what they know. They always have the fear that they are wrong. They try to please people and hence accept what others say, without considering, whether it is right or wrong, good or bad, helpful or destructive. They take people's opinion and word at its face value and then think upon it so much that it becomes a part of them. Then they start believing that they don't have a particular skillset or knowledge and then suffer. They live in fear and think what others have said about them is right. They start believing that they are well equipped like others. They believe that they are not skilled like others.

In the above passage of IISamuel 16:5, Shimei was cursing David. Curse is nothing but speaking negative about someone. Shimei was speaking all the negative words about David, because he hated David. David was not a man pleaser, but a God pleaser. He knew the truth and the truth had made him free. He knew the truth that the peoples opinion was not the final verdict, but God's opinion was final and it mattered. He didn't respond or react to what Shimei said. He knew that what Shimei was speaking was out of hatred and not the truth. Hence David didn't allow it to impact him. Today make a decision that you will not allow others opinion to affect you. Believe in what God says about you. Don't live in fear. Accept the truth about yourself and work on it. Don't lose your confidence. God bless you
