Persistent Delilah – Part 1

And when Delilah pressed him (Samson) hard with her words day after day, and urged him, his soul was vexed to death. Judges 16:16

Here I want to show you something good about Delilah. Delilah is always spoken in negative terms. She achieved what she had aimed in life. Thats what I want you to look at and achieve what you want. If that same effort and energy is put in positive things then it can help you to fly very high. Delilah was promised money if she will get the secret of Samson's strength. She had asked Samson many times. Samson didn't say that he will not tell her the secret of his strength. Samson had power of God, but he didn't have wisdom to handle that power of God. Its very important to have the wisdom of God along with the power of God. Wisdom will not only help you, but also teach you how to use your power and with whom to associate for how long. This wisdom is missed by many people and they end up going downwards, rather than upwards.

Bible says that Delilah asked Samson about his strength and the Philistine's were waiting to take advantage of his weakness. Your enemy is always there to take advantage of your weakness. Thats why its important for you, to guard your own hearts that you don't get deceived and fall into temptations. **you can refer my previous teachings on "Temptations and How to overcome temptations" it will help you. Your enemy will not attack you openly, because you are stronger than them, when God backs you. He can only deceive you. So no matter who the temptation comes from, you need discernment to understand the temptation and overcome it. Don't allow the words of people to be a snare for your life. It might be a beautiful woman or anyone else. Ask God for help always before you get into something or before you make a decision. God bless you.
