Patience is powerful – Part 2

But we exhort you, brethren, admonish the disorderly, comfort the faint- hearted, sustain the weak, be patient towards all. I Thessalonians 5:14

Many are so impatient with others that they tend to always show others that they are wrong. This doesn't change others but this makes them defensive. Then such people make a general perception that all people who believe in God are like this. Then they never hear or talk about God. These people can be our spouse, our children, our colleagues and our friends. Then we get frustrated with God that I am telling so many people about you, but they don't like me.

Love never fails. Be merciful, rather than judgmental. You can't save people, you can only sow the seeds, somebody else will water it and God will give the increase. You don't be impatient. Do what God has called you to do. Love others as you love yourself and then wait on God to do the rest.

Patient is not passive, it is active. You have to be active in prayer for those people in your family, your spouse, your children, friends, colleagues, etc. They will change. God says, “I change the hearts of people and turn them wherever I want and how I want.” So pray that God changes their hearts and your heart too. Be patient with all. Specially your spouse. Keep confessing the word of God.
