And when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Jesus until an opportune time. Luke 4:13
Many
people think the most challenging time is when they are going through a
bad phase in their life or temptations. Not that is not actually the
worst time. During this time you are cautious of what you say, what you
think. You go strong confessing the word of God and believing God. This
is the time when you are receptive to God. You are more closer to God
than ever before. You are faithful with your church and prayer time and
word time. You are full of passion and want to get your victory and
nothing will stop you from getting it.
The
most challenging time is when you get the victory. Everything is
peaceable. There is no temptation. Everything you touch is becoming
gold. You are prospering, you get your regular promotions, your health
is good, your business is expanding, and your relation and family is
perfect. Soon you tend to let down your guards and relax. You think
everything is going on good and nothing will stop you.
This
is the actual time, when you let down your guard and the devil finds
his opportune time. The devil then sows pride, ego, lust, disobedience,
an attitude of judging others, laughing at others. This is the time when
the devil is trying to take the revenge of his last defeat, when you
least expect. The result will not be so evident immediately, but the
symptoms are seen. Disobedience, arrogance due to riches, pride and ego
because of success, etc. You start thinking that you can never go wrong.
The devil deceives you completely. Then no matter who says what, you
think they are jealous of your success and riches. You think that you
have come up to this level and others who are warning you, couldn't even
make a good life. This is the beginning of your destruction.
Don't
let the devil deceive you. Don't give this opportunity to the devil. No
matter how rich you become, or how successful you become, let not pride
enter your hearts and minds. Don't let your guard down. Reaching the
top is difficult, yes, but remaining on the top is more difficult.
Remaining successful and prosperous is very important. Many touch the
peak and fall down only because of their pride and ego. Psalm 62:10 If riches increase, set not your heart on them. Don't allow the devil to rob you from your blessings. Proverbs 18:12 Before destruction the heart of man is full of pride, but humility comes before honor.
Don't
be complacent and lazy. Don't allow the seeds of the devil to grow.
Continue to fight the fight of faith even in your good times.
Consistency will help you rise above, overruling the market conditions
and even the doctors report.
