Getting rid of Worry – Part 3

"Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:24

Worrying is a part of fear, thinking of the worst situation to always happen to you. Worrying comes, when a person lacks faith. A person lacks faith, when he/she lacks the word of God. When you lack the word of God, your focus changes from God and changes towards self. The moment your focus changes from God to self, doubt, unbelief, worry comes. When the focus turns to self, your problem seems big and then you see that you are not able to come out of this mess. Then your thought changes, "If I can't come out of this mess, how can God?" You start basing everything on facts and ignore the truth, word of God, because your mind is not renewed, by the word of God.

The devil defeats you in your mind before destroying you actually. Remember Peter, he was walking on the water successfully. His eyes were on Jesus, but the moment his eyes moved from Jesus to his problems, then in a fraction of a second, he thought, how big the problem is for him. (He didn't think about Jesus and His capabilities, because his focus changed from Jesus to self). Yes! The main concern of your worry is your focus. You start worrying when your focus is self, because you don't have a perfect proven track record like God. He is the Potter, not you. Impossible things can be made possible by Him, not you. Now check where is your focus. Is it God or self, you will get the answer to your worry. If the focus is self, change it now, by renewing your mind, by reading the Bible and the word which God shares, through me, Also hearing the word of God.

Things might have gone out of your hands, but God is still in control. God who opens the eyes, can close the eyes so your mistake is overlooked. God who solves confusion, can create confusions, to help you. In the bible God made kings win battles, by creating confusions among their enemies. Change your focus back to God. Focus on God's abilities and not your problems. Remind yourself of all the good things in your life, that God did in the past. It will help you.

Don't forget this word. Read again and again till it is stored in your mind and gives you peace.
